Halo Infinite’s main missions have their fair share of collectibles, which are tucked away from being accessed from the main world. These mainly include the plentiful Audio Logs and the ever elusive skulls.
The Foundation mission is the second linear mission in Halo Infinite and the second mission in the game’s campaign overall, where you discover some more revelations about the game’s story and characters, setting the scene for the rest of the game. Within this mission, there are three audio logs for you to collect and one skull, as well as some of Master Chief’s equipment and gear.

Halo Infinite Foundation collectible locations
The four collectibles in Halo Infinite’s Foundation mission are:
- Cowbell Skull
- Banished Audio Log – Cylix
- USNC Audio Log – Recovered Files: The Question
- UNSC Audio Log – Not My Fault
Cowbell Skull location
The Cowbell Skull is found once you see images of ghostly children running around you. You will then reach a box window. The skull is in the rafters up in the ceiling and you can grapple up to it to reach it. This skull will speed up recovery from explosions when equipped.
Banished Audio Log – Cylix location
The Banished Audio Log – Cylix can be found next to one of the main doors to progress once you have obtained The Weapon. You’ll come across it during the objective ‘Reach The Surface’.
USNC Audio Log – Recovered Files: The Question location
This audio log is automatically given to you as a part of the story during this mission.
UNSC Audio Log – Not My Fault location
This audio log is sat at the end of the mission, resting on the floor next to the power cell for the elevator up to ground level.
