- Bo Swing
Most of these Momentum abilities will be naturally unlocked as you play through the game. But, to get the Microbots ability you will need to complete Robin’s Knighthood Challenges. This requires a little bit of a grind so you will need to prepare yourself to put in about an hour of your time.
Evade Decoy Momentum Ability
Evade Decoy is one of the earliest abilities you get and it is one of your key ones.
Deploying a decoy will distract all the enemies you are fighting and it means you don’t have to worry about them as they will be too busy shooting the decoy. This allows you to hit them with melee attacks or one of the other abilities below.
Fireworks Momentum Ability
Fireworks is a great crowd control ability that synergises well with his Bo Staff. Firing up a combustible pellet, it will explode and rain down fireworks in the area around where it was fired. This allows you to stand in it, and work on wailing on enemies while everyone is stunned by the pellet.
The ability is one of his most reliable so you will want to grab it as soon as you can and complete its challenge.
Bo Swing Momentum Ability
Bo Swing is our third choice as Robin excels at hitting multiple enemies with his staff. This ability allows you to utilise that strength with a wide, heavy swing that knocks targets back that are hit by it.
This ability on top of the crowd-control you get with it also breaks the guard of an enemy, which makes it great for minibosses as well.
Microbots Momentum Ability
Microbots is Robin’s ultimate Momentum Ability and it is insanely strong. Unleashing three swarms of bots that latch onto enemies, this ability is great at crowd control, dealing damage on top of allowing you a brief reprieve or escape.
The Microbots also do Incendiary damage, which is a nice bonus on top of the damage the ability already does.
