To upgrade the Draupnir Spear in God of War Ragnarok, you need to find Gale Flames around the game’s realms and upgrade the weapon at the Blacksmith. These Gale Flames can be found in the environment, in story missions, or from completing side objectives and favours.
There are fewer Gale Flames in the world than there are resources for upgrading the Blades of Chaos and the Leviathon Axe because you get the spear two-thirds of the way through the game and it is already levelled up partially.
