Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse has had a really unfortunate run of things recently. The COVID-19 situation in Shanghai caused the studio to delay an update to the popular ARPG for the first time since launch, and its team has since been working from home. However, it seems that the delay is finally coming to an end, as the Genshin Impact 2.7 livestream time has now officially been confirmed via Twitter for tomorrow, May 20.

During the livestream, we will learn a lot more about HoYoverse has been cooking up for Genshin Impact 2.7 – dubbed ‘Hidden Dreams in the Depths’ – including the Genshin Impact Yelan release date, and, hopefully, the Genshin Impact Kuki Shinobu release date.

We should also get the full rundown of who we will be seeing on the Genshin Impact banner throughout the version, with the appearance of Arataki Itto in the attached image possibly alluding to a previous leak that he would be getting a rerun. Finally, we can expect HoYoverse to divulge all of the lovely new quests and events that we’ll be working our way through over the coming weeks.
