Genshin Impact 2.7 banner potentially leaked

Reports have surfaced regarding a potential Genshin Impact 2.7 banner leak, with a mixture of characters new and old making their way into the hit ARPG

Genshin Impact 2.7 banner leak: Yelan, Xiao, and Itto

Genshin Impact 2.7 is on its way, and with every new update to the popular gacha-infused ARPG comes a brand new Genshin Impact banner. While developer HoYoverse won’t officially confirm the next rotation of characters and weapons up for grabs until the 2.7 livestream, a new leak has surfaced purporting to show who will arrive with the next version.

According to reputable leaker ‘Uncle Y’, the first Genshin Impact 2.7 banner will mark the Genshin Impact Yelan release date, alongside a second rerun for Xiao. If true, then this is certainly an interesting move from HoYoverse, seeing as it has only been a few months since Xiao last ran. It would also make him only the second character after Childe to receive a third outing on the banner.

Four-star characters Noelle, Barbara, and Yanfei will apparently accompany Yelan and Xiao. Noelle was last spotted on Albedo and Eula’s dual banner back in November last year, with Barbara turning up on Itto’s banner last December. Yanfei meanwhile is the most-recent of the three Genshin Impact characters to feature, having appeared on Zhongli and Ganyu’s dual banner in late January 2022.

For the second phase of 2.7, Uncle Y reports that Artaki Itto – the one and oni – will receive his first rerun. Itto launched during version 2.3, and his return to the banner will usher in the Genshin Impact Kuki Shinobu release date – seeing as the new Electro support is his second-in-command in the Arataki Gang, after all. Aside from Shinobu, the leaker has no further information on phase two’s four-star characters.

As for weapons, phase one will naturally feature Yelan’s bow, Aqua Simulacra, and Xiao’s polearm, Primordial Jade Winged-Spear. Meanwhile, phase two will give players the chance to snag Itto’s claymore, Redhorn Stonethresher, and the Memory of Dust catalyst.

Of course, no matter how reputable the leaker, take Uncle Y’s report with a big old pinch of salt – at least until HoYoverse officially divulges everything we have to look forward to in Genshin Impact 2.7
