Business is now permitted to take place on the Fortnite island grounds, as the John Wick Fortnite skin is finally back in the Item Shop. Yes, the legendary hitman who once laid waste to his foes with a pencil returns to the Epic Games battle royale, but this isn’t your ordinary John Wick bundle. No, following the release of a John Wick Chapter 4, players are treated to a refreshed character model and more upon their purchase.
There are loads of Fortnite skins that PS5 and Xbox players would love to see unvaulted, but the John Wick skin is easily one of the most requested. John Wick has been absent from one of the best battle royale games around for 1,000 days according to FortniteGG, but you can pick his refreshed bundle for 2,400 V-Bucks right now. The bundle includes Wick himself, accompanied by 4 different styles to use in-game. These include 2 looks from John Wick Chapter 2 and 2 new additions based on his appearance in John Wick Chapter 4.
Specifically, the fresh additions include an all-black variant of his custom bulletproof suit, which pays homage to his look in the first movie, although it did appear in the second half of John Wick Chapter 3 Parabellum. Sadly, it isn’t bulletproof in-game, before you get any ideas. The other new suit is based on Wick’s attire at the end of Chapter 4, as he prepares for his High Table duel.
You’ll also be able to use a new harvesting tool, Wick’s Katana, which could be based on the finale of Chapter 3 or the Osaka Continental battle in Chapter 4. Epic Games really is catering to Wick fans with this one. Furthermore, a new emote called Lights Out is also in the Item Shop, which we reckon is a nod to Wick’s church visit in Chapter 4. It is brilliant to see John Wick’s return get this much love from the developer, as the studio has also updated his character model. Not only does Wick look better, but attention to the lore of the movies is present too.
Eagled-eyed fans will be able to note that Wick’s finger is missing, following his pledge to the High Table in Chapter 3. It is a small detail that Wick fans will appreciate, even if it isn’t a major attribution to the new bundle. If you already own John Wick, you’ll be able to use his new styles already, but you’ll need to purchase the Wick’s Katana harvesting tool or the emotes separately. Or, you can buy Wick on his for 2,000 V-Bucks. Surprisingly, the golden coin back bling doesn’t return here, which represents the mysterious currency used across all the movies.
It is a great time to be jumping into one of the best multiplayer games out there, given the recent release of Rocket Racing, Fortnite Festival, and Lego Fortnite. We’re so excited to see the Fortnite Festival guitar controller in action, as more additions to the Fortnite Festival song list arrive.
