Gameloft’s upcoming arcade racer Disney Speedstorm is turning heads for more reasons than one. Not only does it feature an impressive roster of the world’s most beloved animated characters, it also promises slick racing gameplay not dissimilar to Mario Kart or Crash Team Racing. Now, though, it might start to turn heads for a different reason. A recent Disney Speedstorm trophies leak seems to suggest that players are in for an endurance race, not a sprint, when it comes to content and unlocking all the achievements on offer. This is going to be a Grand Prix of content, not a flying lap.
As shown by this Disney Speedstorm trophy list from Exophase, it looks like any prospective racers looking to 100% this game will need to spend quite a bit of time playing. However, this does sugges that there’s going to be quite a bit of content for players to work their way through – and hopefully enjoy.
For example, the “Friendly” trophy requires players to unlock 30 Crew members in Disney Speedstorm. These Crew members are essentially modifiers that players can use to improve their racer’s statistics and make the most of every one of the Disney Speedstorm characters‘ unique traits.
In addition to this, there will be trophies for winning 300 races in-game, collecting 300 medals from the Disney Speedstorm map, and reaching a Multiplayer Rank of 100. If that wasn’t enough, there’s even a trophy on the Disney Speedstorm trophy list that requires you to level up a total of 200 times – and another that suggests that each racer can level up to level 30.
We don’t know if you were expecting a grind when it comes to Disney Speedstorm, but you might just have one on your hands.

The Disney Speedstorm release date is almost upon us, and this could very well be one of the best PS5 racing games and best Xbox racing games available when it drops. At the very least, it’s free-to-play – so, it’s well worth giving a go if you have some spare time and you’re looking for a new racer.
