Destiny 2 Ex Diris perks and traits
The Destiny 2 Ex Diris Exotic Arc Energy grenade launcher comes with the following perks and traits:
- Corrupted Nucleosynthesis – This weapon enrages when dealing or taking sustained damage, gaining increased rate of fire while enraged.
- Loyal Moths – Final blows with this weapon create a loyal moth. The moth will seek out nearby targets and detonate, damaging and blinding them.
- Nucleosynthetic Magazine – This magazine continuously draws ammo from reserves. The magazine also enables firing Arc projectiles that detonate on impact.
- Volatile Launch – This weapon is optimized for an especially explosive payload.
- Hand-Laid Stock – This weapon is optimized for recoil control.
This Exotic grenade launcher has some unique perks that make it strong for tougher enemies. Notably, taking or dealing sustained damage will enrage the weapon, causing it to increase in fire-rate, which is great against high health foes. On the other hand, final blows will create a loyal moth that can damage and blind nearby enemies, also making it a great pick groups of enemies.
While it could rank among the best Destiny 2 weapons, it’s unlikely to take a spot next to the best Destiny 2 PvP weapons, as it’s generally tricky for grenade launchers to make it into the meta outside of a select few. However, the loyal moths perk could be useful in certain scenarios in Trials when players are grouped together.
