Cyberpunk 2077 players have found an embarrassing NSFW glitch

Serves you right for choosing the extra-large size option

By now, we all know that you can customise V’s genitals in Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt Red pushed this hard in the game’s marketing, and gamers were keen to ogle the options when the biggest streamers loaded up the game for the first time.

Ben ‘CohhCarnage’ Cassell says he “likes the flop” of the genital options, but to be honest, the selection was hardly groundbreaking. However, some of the choices could be potentially gamebreaking. We saw most streamers opt to give their version of V the largest possible Cyberjunk, but this has now been found to cause problems later in the game.

Twitter user FiskyBizniz discovered that their choice of a large appendage caused V’s penis to clip through their cyberjeans. The tweet has been widely shared, but we remain in the dark about whether or not CD Projekt Red intends to patch the glitch out – but to be honest, a simple zipper would suffice.

As well as the penis-related wardrobe malfunction, other players have also found that V’s breasts will sometimes clip through their clothes – including through a sturdy leather jacket. These glitches are obviously NSFW, but we’ve found some examples of the clipping on Twitter:

Cyberpunk 2077 released on PC and consoles today, but even after a day one patch, many players are still taking to Twitter to complain about bugs and glitches. Reports suggest that the game runs poorly on last-gen hardware, such as the original Xbox One consoles.

These consoles are about seven years old at this point – they’ve been around for nearly as long as Cyberpunk has been in development – so it’s unsurprising that they don’t run a next-gen game perfectly. But players are still requesting better optimisation so they aren’t forced to upgrade just to play the game.

Hopefully we’ll see the penis-clipping glitch patched out soon, or at least before the highly-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer release date. For now, though, streamers may have to be wary about the issue, as they are already potentially facing bans and DMCA strikes for nudity and copyrighted music in the game.
