We know we have already shared this week’s Best Warzone Loadout with you, but there is one weapon dominating the Warzone meta right now that we need to talk about specifically: the Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle. While you may have spotted this particular sniper rifle pop up during the recent World Series of Warzone tournament, you might not realise just how good this gun actually is. The Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle is one of the best Warzone guns available right now – and we can’t really believe it.
Don’t fancy taking us at our word on this? We have some numbers to back this claim up – they really are quite surprising when you consider what weapon we’re talking about.
According to WZRanked, a popular stat tracker for the popular battle royale shooter, the Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle boasts the second-highest average K/D ratio (1.37) and joint-highest win rate (5.32). With the best UGM Warzone loadouts only bettering this sharpshooter, it’s wild to think that the Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle only has a pick-rate of 2.34.
Just looking at sniper rifles alone, it looks like players are opting for the HDR or 3-Line Rifle – but, we don’t think that’s going to be the case for long. If you look at YouTube, you’ll see brilliant Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle builds from the likes of Joseph ‘JoeWo’ Wohala, Isaac ‘IceManIsaac’ Hamilton, and ‘DiazBiffle’.
However, we’re going to share one from the Warzone whiz ‘JGOD’, if you’re looking to try one out for yourself. Here’s what you need to know:
- Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
- Barrel: 420mm Express
- Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
- Stock: Reinforced stock
- Underbarrel: Bipod
- Magazine: 13mm AM 10 Round Mags
- Ammunition: Subsonic
- Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
- Perk 1: Driller
- Perk 2: On-Hand
In a battle royale where mobility is vital, the Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle is sadly caught lacking – no matter what attachments you decide to equip. However, this slower sniper is easily one of the hardest hitting weapons in the game and we’re fully expecting it to show up in quite a few of the best Warzone loadouts as we career towards the Warzone 2 release date later this year.
But, if you are reading this while you’re waiting for more Warzone 2 news, why not check out seven Warzone 2 changes you probably don’t know about yet. This is going to be a completely new battle royale experience and we can’t wait to see how it compares when it comes out.
