According to a new leak, it looks like a celebratory fourth-anniversary skin is coming to Warzone Season 3 when it kicks off on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 – excellent news for you cosmetic magpies out there.
Sporting a postcard-style collage of Warzone maps like Caldera and Rebirth Island, the leaked MCW skin is a beauty. We love that it’s themed around travel, especially considering how many times we’ve taken a trip down to the battle royale game’s various locales over the years.
Should the leak materialize, then the MCW is perhaps the perfect recipient for this year’s skin. Having caused quite the ruckus when Call of Duty MW3 first launched, the MCW dominated the meta during the game’s early days – it was an absolute laser beam. Since then it has remained a consistent pick, and there probably isn’t a weapon we’ve handled more often during our late-night sessions in the multiplayer game.
Though the MCW skin remains a leak for now (via CharlieIntel), there are official ways you can celebrate the popular battle royale’s fourth anniversary. The CoD team has created a new site that offers a timeline of its biggest moments, from its global launch on March 10, 2020, all the way up until the upcoming Warzone Mobile launch on March 21, 2024.
Additionally, if you’re really quick, you can still take part in the four years of Warzone Twitter sweepstakes. From now until Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 10am PST / 1pm EST, sharing your favorite memory using the hashtags specified here will give you a chance to win plenty of big-ticket goodies.
