Warzone Pacific Snake Shot magnums loadout setup

The Top Beak magnum can be made dual wield in Warzone Pacific - and it's reminding players of overpowered Snake Shot magnum loadouts of the past

Warzone Pacific snake shot magnums: A single Top Break magnum pistol, set against a black background. When akimbo, this pistol makes a devastating loadout

In a chilling callback to the Modern Warfare era of Warzone, the Warzone Pacific update has seen the return of a terrifying monster – a pair of overpowered magnums. These akimbo Top Break magnum pistols – which are still referred to as Snake Shots in honour of the .357 Magnum’s broken attachment – have the same devastating effects as its predecessor, and they’re terrorising Caldera.

This akimbo Top Break loadout will completely delete enemies at close range, with no real need for precision either. As this is a dual wield class, there’s no aiming down sights, making them closer to a shotgun than a pistol.

To add how overpowered this loadout is, the Top Break is a secondary weapon, meaning you can run this alongside another one of the best Warzone guns without having to use the Overkill perk. That means access to Ghost in your first loadout.

As you can probably guess, this is a rather lethal recipe – one that’s bound to get nerfed sooner or later. So, if you want a bit of Snake Shot magnum action in Warzone Pacific, you better make this loadout pronto.

According to YouTuber ‘Speros’, this is the best Snake Shot magnum loadout you can make in Warzone Pacific:

  • Muzzle: Strife Compensator
  • Barrel: Wilkie W-4 Stub
  • Optic: None
  • Trigger Action: Hair Trigger
  • Magazine: .30 Russian Short
  • Ammunition: M15 Shot Shell
  • Perk 1: Akimbo
  • Perk 2: Quick

If blasting folks away in a blink is what gives you a kick, then this Top Break akimbo magnums class is the one for you.

This combination of attachments aims to do just three things: increase your damage, up the rate of fire, and most importantly, give you two Top Breaks instead of one. With this perilous pair in your hands, no one is safe at close range.

Warzone Pacific Snake Shots loadout secondary

To deal with those longer engagements, you’ll need a strong and versatile AR as a lead weapon in any Snake Shot magnum loadout. Our two favourite picks at the moment are the NZ-41 or the STG44.

Check out builds for both weapons in our NZ-41 Warzone loadout and STG44 Warzone loadout guides.

Warzone Pacific Snake Shots loadout perks and equipment

Normally, when it comes to perks, we suggest the standard trio of Double Time, Overkill, and Amped. But because the Top Break is a secondary, we can ditch Overkill in favour of Ghost instead. They’ll never see you, or your two pistols, coming.

For equipment, Stun Grenades will be handy for slowing enemies down so you can land those lethal magnum shots, and Semtex are still the most handy lethal to have in a loadout.

So if you want to be a nuisance in Caldera, this akimbo Top Break loadout is the most effective way to piss people off. This humble pistol could very soon find itself taking over the close-range Warzone meta – it’s that overpowered.
