You can no longer get or use the Snake Shot/Top Break magnum in Warzone because this version of the game was shut down. However, this guide will be updated and will be useful if it ever returns.
In a chilling callback to the Modern Warfare era of Warzone, the Warzone Pacific update saw the return of a terrifying monster – a pair of overpowered magnums. These akimbo Top Break magnum pistols – which were still referred to as Snake Shots in honour of the .357 Magnum’s broken attachment – had the same devastating effects as its predecessor, and they were terrorising Caldera in the Call of Duty Vanguard era of Warzone.
This akimbo Top Break loadout completely deleted enemies at close range, with no real need for precision either. As this was a dual-wield class, there was no aiming down sights, making them closer to a shotgun than a pistol.
To add how overpowered this loadout was, the Top Break was a secondary weapon, meaning you could run this alongside another one of the best Warzone guns without having to use the Overkill perk. That meant access to Ghost in your first loadout.
As you can probably guess, this was a rather lethal recipe. Unfortunately, after Call of Duty Vanguard’s integration with Warzone was discontinued and its content was removed, it’s not currently possible to unlock or use the Snake Shot Top Break magnum. However, there’s always a chance it will return.
Warzone Pacific Snake Shots loadout
The best Warzone Snake Shot magnum loadout was:
- Muzzle: Strife Compensator
- Barrel: Wilkie W-4 Stub
- Optic: None
- Trigger Action: Hair Trigger
- Magazine: .30 Russian Short
- Ammunition: M15 Shot Shell
- Perk 1: Akimbo
- Perk 2: Quick
If blasting folks away in a blink was what gave you a kick, then this Top Break akimbo magnums class was the one for you.
This combination of attachments aimed to do just three things: increase your damage, up the rate of fire, and most importantly, give you two Top Breaks instead of one. With this perilous pair in your hands, no one was safe at close range.
Warzone Pacific Snake Shots loadout secondary
To deal with those longer engagements, you needed a strong and versatile AR as a lead weapon in any Snake Shot magnum loadout. Our two favorite picks were the NZ-41 or the STG44 thanks to how versatile and deadly they were.
Check out builds for both weapons in our NZ-41 Warzone loadout and STG44 Warzone loadout guides.
Warzone Pacific Snake Shots loadout perks and equipment
Normally, when it came to perks, we suggested the standard trio of Double Time, Overkill, and Amped. But because the Top Break was a secondary, you could ditch Overkill in favor of Ghost instead. They never saw you, or your two pistols, coming.
For equipment, Stun Grenades were handy for slowing enemies down so you could land those lethal magnum shots, and Semtex was still the most lethal… lethal equipment to have in a loadout.
So if you wanted to be a nuisance in Caldera, this akimbo Top Break loadout was the most effective way to piss people off. It’s no surprise it had its time in the spotlight of the Warzone meta – it was unquestionably overpowered.
