Fennec Warzone loadout: best attachments, perks, and equipment

Here are two great Fennec classes for Warzone Season 5

The Fennec has always been a bit of an outlier when it comes to SMGs in Call of Duty: Warzone. The Modern Warfare weapon has always struggled to find its way into players’ best Warzone loadouts, due to the strength of the several other SMGs like the MAC-10, the Bullfrog, or the OTs 9, to name but a few.

It’s always been a decent option for point-blank gunfights due to its high rate of fire, but it has always struggled to make an impression at farther ranges – something its biggest rivals in the SMG class can.

However, in Season 5 of Warzone the Fennec given a generous bullet velocity buff that makes it a far more balanced SMG that can actually beam players at close-to-mid-range while ADSing. As a result, more and more Warzone players are giving it a try in their loadout drops for both Verdansk and Rebirth Island.

Here we bring you two super strong Fennec loadouts, with different builds for both aggressive close-range play and for a more balanced, sniper support-style role.

Fennec Warzone loadout (close range)

  • ZLR 18” Deadfall
  • 5mW Laser
  • 40 Round Drum Mags
  • Stippled Grip Tape
  • Sleight of Hand

If you want a Fennec loadout built for close-range, point-blank action, this is the build you want. While it can still perform well at range thanks to that Season 5 bullet velocity buff, these attachments help with hip firing, fast reloading, and bolstering the Fennec’s fire rate to deal damage as quickly as possible.

This build will help it go toe-to-toe with the likes of the MAC-10, and could genuinely be a more viable option for aggressive players than the recently nerfed Modern Warfare MP5.

You’ll want to pair this with an assault rifle that can perform at mid and long-range with plenty of ammo in reserve, just in case you burn through all of your Fennec bullets. We recommend either one of the builds in our Krig 6 Warzone loadout and QBZ Warzone loadout guides.

For perks, run Cold Blooded to counter the new Combat Scout perk, Overkill to run two primary weapons, and Amped for faster weapon swapping.

For equipment, a Heartbeat Sensor will be useful for pinging enemies, and Throwing Knives may prove useful for finishing enemies without wasting any more precious bullets in your Fennec.

Fennec Warzone loadout (sniper support)

  • ZLR Sabre
  • ZLR 16” Apex
  • 5mW Laser
  • Merc Foregrip
  • 40 Round Mags

If you want to run a more balanced Fennec loadout, or use it as a support option in a sniper class, this is the build you want.

This is the class setup created by the walking highlight reel that is ‘FaZe Nio’, and when thrown into his devastating Kar98k Warzone loadout, it acts as the perfect backup. With great range and bullet velocity, plus the Merc Foregrip to help with recoil, this Fennec build can really hold its own, especially in the frantic environment of Rebirth Island.

For perks, try Double Time, Overkill, and Amped. For equipment, you can run Thermites and Stun Grenades which can really help in landing sniper kills as well as Fennec kills.

So there you have it, two amazing Fennec loadouts for Warzone Season 5. Give these classes a spin and see if it can become your new go-to SMG.
