The best Sykov Warzone loadout

Who doesn't want a fully automatic, silenced, 80-round, akimbo pistol?

A player reloading the Sykov pistol in Warzone

It isn’t very often you find Call of Duty: Warzone players clamouring to level up and use a secondary weapon, but the recent addition of the Sykov pistol has changed that.

With the Sykov unlocked in Warzone through a relatively simple challenge and early clips of it’s scary time to kill spreading like wildfire, everyone wants to try out the new pistol. Why is it so special, you ask? Well, if you’re here you probably know already, but the Sykov can not only be made fully automatic, but it can have an 80-round magazine attached to it and be equipped as an akimbo weapon. That’s a pretty lethal combination.

The Sykov is proving to be an absolute terror at close range, rivalling some of the top SMGs in Warzone (our best MAC-10 Warzone loadout being one of them). What makes this even more overpowered is that, because it is a secondary, there’s no need to run Overkill, meaning you’re free to pick up a Ghost class in your first loadout. Usually, players will prioritise an Overkill class first to get two primary weapons, then switch to a Ghost class later to have the benefit of the Ghost perk. Here, there’s no need.

So what’s the most overpowered build for the Sykov? Well, thanks to YouTuber ‘JGOD’, we’ve got a pretty good idea.

Best Sykov Warzone loadout

  • Monolithic Suppressor
  • Sorokin 140mm Auto Barrel
  • 5mW Laser
  • 80 Round Drums
  • Akimbo

This Sykov build by JGOD combines all of the Sykov’s strengths into one god-like sidearm. Not only does it melt enemies in no time at all, it’s silenced thanks to the Monolithic Suppressor and its huge mag means you could shred at least three players without reloading.

For any engagement past around 10 metres or so, the akimbo Sykovs become pretty useless. So you’ll most likely want to pair this with a mid to long-range assault rifle or tactical rifle as a primary weapon. For some inspiration, check out our best M16 Warzone loadout and our best AMAX Warzone loadout.

Unlike most of our loadout guides, you won’t be needing the Overkill perk to get your hands on the Sykov. Also, as our usual perk three pick of Amped only affects weapon switching between primary weapons, that becomes pretty redundant too.

Try a perk lineup of Double Time, Ghost, and Shrapnel (or Tracker, if you’re into that kind of thing…)

For equipment, Heartbeat Sensor and C4s are the play here. With Shrapnel on, C4’s will delay enemy health regen too, so if you land a hit with an explosive be sure to push aggressively with you’re new akimbo best friend.
