You can no longer use the DMR 14 in Warzone because the original version of the game was shut down. However, this guide will be updated and will come in handy if the DMR 14 ever returns.
Who’d have thought that we’d ever have seen a semi-auto tactical rifle leading the meta in Call of Duty Warzone. In the words of Paul Rudd, “not me.” Typically, assault rifles and SMGs ruled the roost, though the DMR 14 did have some time in the spotlight.
The DMR 14 tactical rifle was one of the best Warzone guns and found its way into players’ loadouts for its ridiculous damage numbers and insane time-to-kill. Despite countless attempts by Treyarch to nerf the gun, the DMR 14 was still capable of two-tapping fully-armoured players, providing you could hit a headshot or two, for quite some time before it was nerfed further. This thing was nasty, and pro players and streamers were using it in abundance. The gun even helped some of them set new Warzone kill records.
Sadly, the original Warzone is no longer available so you can’t use the DMR 14 in a battle royale setting – though the new EBR-14 is more or less a spiritual successor. Best DMR Warzone loadout
This was the best DMR Warzone loadout:
- Agency Suppressor
- 20.8” Task Force
- Axial Arms 3x Optic
- Field Agent Foregrip
- 30 Rnd Mag
The damage output and the range on this thing were absolutely wild, and with a 3x scope you could zoom right in the heads that you’d want to hit to delete enemies quicker than they can say “you’re hacking.”
Pair this DMR with a strong close-range weapon (see our best MAC-10 Warzone loadout for some inspiration) and you had yourself arguably the strongest loadout in the game when it was at the top.
For perks, we suggested using E.O.D. and Amped in your DMR Warzone loadout. For Perk 2, Overkill was the obvious choice if you wanted to run it with a MAC-10. Or, if you had the hideously overpowered dual Diamatti pistols unlocked, you could have picked them and chosen Ghost as your Perk 2 instead.
For equipment, you can’t go wrong with a Heartbeat Sensor and C4 for some added utility and destructive potential.
Even after the nerfs to its power, it still held a respectable place in the meta until the original Warzone closed its doors and a new batch of weapons replaced our old favorites in one of the best battle royale games out there.
