Whether you’re dropping into Zombie Royale, Vondead, or even just a regular nighttime Al Mazrah, having a good weapon in your loadout can be the difference between success and failure when it comes to Warzone – just like any other Call of Duty multiplayer experience. You might think you’ll do well enough with your trusty Lachmann Sub, but a shift in the meta has seen another SMG rise to take it’s place as the king of close-quarters combat. If you want to make sure you’re staying on top of this ever-changing meta, you should use this fantastic Warzone BAS-P loadout for the rest of The Haunting event.
It might not feel like it when you’re getting beamed by an AR from across Al Mazrah, but Warzone is one of the best battle royale games out there right now – you could even argue it was one of the best FPS games of all time at one point. The fact that Call of Duty continues to tweak the Warzone meta, buffing and nerfing weapons in an effort to keep something of a balance, is a huge reason why this game is still going strong all these years after launch. One of those meta-tweaking updates has somehow seen the best Warzone BAS-P loadout rise to the same level as the stalwart Lachmann Sub to become one of the best Warzone SMG options available right now.
We don’t know how long this will last, but at the time of writing WZRanked has the BAS-P listed as one of four S-tier weapons and WZStats lists the BAS-P as the second best meta weapon available right now with a 7.88% pick rate – just behind the Kastov 762. So, we think it’s fairly safe to say that you should absolutely be checking it out for the remainder of The Haunting. It’s one of the best Warzone guns right now and would make a fine addition to your best Warzone loadouts – whether you’re playing Resurgence or not. After that, when the Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 release date and the next Warzone update arrives, we can imagine the meta will shift quite dramatically to account for all the new MW3 guns available in Warzone.

- Laser: VLK LZR 7mw (-0.42, -14.81)
- Magazine: 50 Round Drum
- Rear Grip: Bruen Flash Grip (-0.71, -0.45)
- Stock: Bruen Flash V4 Stock (-2.97, -0.85)
As content creator ‘Chuck‘ explains, this build will give you better recoil steadiness with sustained fire and a larger magazine while still retaining decent ADS speed and mobility.
If you want something with a little more range, you should check out the best Warzone Kastov 762 loadout while it’s still working; Call of Duty has already nerfed this weapon once, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see it hit with another given its continued dominance.
