Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded release date
The release date for Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded is set for Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Any major updates for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 usually arrive on a Wednesday, with smaller patch and balance updates released during seasons.
Like Season 1, and the previous Call of Duty games, the Season 1 Reloaded update will arrive on Modern Warfare 2 on the same day, meaning players who own the main game will also get some new content too.
Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded new content
The new content for Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded includes a new assault rifle called the Chimera, new Operators to play as: Gaz and Klaus, and a map change in DMZ.
Obviously, the biggest addition with this mid-season update is the new gun. Known as the Chimera AR, this assault rifle looks to be based on the Honey Badger from Call of Duty: Ghosts. It remains to be seen whether it can find a spot on our best Warzone 2 assault rifles list.
T Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded update won’t adjust any of Al Mazrah’s POIs, but it will add a brand new location in DMZ called Building 21, with new Warzone 2 key locations to find. The location is highly classified and is a deadly area of the DMZ with high-tier Contraband to find in safes and areas that require keycard access.
In addition, Warzone 2 is going full-on Rocket League with the Warzone Cup. This Limited time mode brings two teams of three operators to the AI Easima Field, home of the league rivals to Al Mazrah’s football club. Here they use pulse-enabled ATVs to push a large football around as Shock Sticks are tossed to disable players. Mini Royale will also return for a condensed battle royale experience where you can hop in and win within minutes.
