Surviving Al Mazrah in Warzone 2 can be a tall order. Even the most skilled Call of Duty players are struggling to reach that final circle, and the return of ultimate perks like Bird’s Eye won’t make it easier. That’s right, Bird’s Eye is back on the scene in the COD battle royale – and it is still busted.
Back in December 2022, ultimate perks such as High Alert were removed from custom and default loadouts in Warzone 2. Taken out for a variety of issues, developer Raven Software has since reinstated them into the game. However, it isn’t all smooth sailing on the shores of Al Mazrah. Bird’s Eye is back to cause havoc.
The perk allows Warzone 2 players to gain the benefits of a UAV when a nearby player activates it. COD players quickly latched onto this spicy trick, giving them an unparalleled advantage over unsuspecting enemies. With the return of ultimate perks, Bird’s Eye is possibly giving way to a brand meta, as players combine it with the best Warzone 2 guns.
Call of Duty YouTuber ‘Metaphor‘ claims that “Bird’s Eye is the best perk in the game, if someone calls in their UAV – you’re gonna get a couple of hits [of it].” Pairing it with Warzone 2 meta loadouts that include the likes of the Kastov 762 or RPK makes for supremely brutal gunfights.
However, some players aren’t taking too kindly to Bird’s Eye reign. Warzone 2 player ‘Astrix_au‘ expresses that “it’s so unfair that Birds Eye works for some in Warzone and not others […] giving some [players] constant UAVs at critical times so unfair it’s a joke.”
It seems like it may only be a matter of time before you end up in the Bird’s Eye view. Prepare yourself for battle with all the Warzone 2 best loadouts, as we draw closer to the Warzone 2 Season 2 release date.
