Crafting the best Modern Warfare 2 Signal 50 loadout and class setup requires a deep look through the class system and Gunsmith. Whether it is finding a backup weapon or equipment to use, you will want to know exactly what to run so you can dominate with the sniper rifle in Modern Warfare 2.
This class will focus on being able to hold down a position on the maps in the game and land shots with the Signal 50 in the various game modes. But, the loadout will also be built to allow you to survive up close, allowing you to cover all ranges, even though the gun doesn’t make it onto our best guns and weapons list.

As one of the harder-hitting sniper rifles in the game, the SIghtmax Clear Shot is our optic of choice as you will want to sit back and shoot from a distance with it. This isn’t a weapon where you can dart around the map. You can be mobile, but you don’t want to opt for a run-and-gun playstyle.
Similarly, the FSS Echo Stock helps out with the gun’s stability and recoil, which are key when you are picking off players. The Stalwart Grip, then allows you to stay on target with the weapon if you do happen to meet some resistance.
Next up is the barrel. We pick the 21.5″ Fluted Fifty. This boosts your bullet velocity and also helps with recoil control just that little bit, which is nice if you ever have to land a follow-up shot.

With this loadout, you aren’t going to be moving around a ton, but this perk works with the rest of the loadout rather well, ensuring you don’t get stunned or flashed by surprise and caught, unable to move. Then, you want Resupply in your Bonus slot, for reasons we will get into in a bit. Then, capping the perks off is Bird’s Eye which will allow you to see far more of what is going on on the minimap.
Equipment-wise, pick the Claymore and Shock stick in your lethal and tactical slots. This will allow you to set up in a location and keep doorways covered with either the explosive claymore or the stunning effect of the Shock Stick. Resupply then allows you to spawn with more of these and have them recharge while you are sniping at people from a distance.
Finally, for your Field Upgrade, we recommend the Portable Radar for the best Signal 50 loadout. This shows enemies on the minimap in your close vicinity so you can keep track of if you are being snuck up on.
