Are you wondering how to get a Modern Warfare 2 nuke? Well, let us help you out by telling you what killstreak you will need to go on to absolutely obliterate the enemy team.

The nuke in Modern Warfare 2 is actually called the MGB, Mass Guided Bombs, and it works by covering the map in a cascade of rockets after a ten-second cooldown ends. This leaves behind a burning wreckage if you can earn one using one of the best Modern Warfare 2 guns in the game.

How to get a Modern Warfare 2 nuke

To get a nuke in Modern Warfare 2, or the MGB by its official name, you need to earn a 30 killstreak in a match without dying using weapons or equipment.

This is exactly the same as in Modern Warfare and upon detonating, it will end the match and give you a victory.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the days of the old Modern Warfare series where killstreaks count. So, you will really need to make sure you have one of the best Modern Warfare 2 loadouts, with a good gun or weapon, and the best perks to be able to achieve this feat. Once earned, you will be able to call the streak in by activating it from the in-game killstreak menu.

The nuke is able to be called in on any of the maps in any of the Modern Warare 2 game modes in the game, so you can really show off by getting an MGB on every map or in every mode.
