The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 mastery camos are going to be the hottest thing on the market at the launch of the game and in the months that follow.
As you grind through weapon customisation, rank up fast, and engage with the prestige system and Gunsmith, they will undoubtedly be getting at least some of these camos. But, what are they and how are they changing with Modern Warfare 2 and how could you unlock them? This guide will cover what you need to do for them across the guns and weapons in the game.
What are all the Modern Warfare 2 mastery camos?
The four mastery camos for Modern Warfare 2, which have been confirmed by Activision are:
- Gold camo
- Platinum camo
- Polyatomic camo
- Orion camo
The Gold and Platinum camos are how you remember them looking and you can see images of them all below.
How to unlock all the Modern Warfare 2 mastery camos?
In terms of how to unlock these mastery camos, the process is similar to the previous Call of Duty games.
- Gold – unlock all other camos on a weapon to get Gold
- Platinum – unlocked by earning Gold on all weapons in a category
- Polyatomic – unlocked by earning Platinum camo on all weapons and then complete another challenge for each weapon
- Orion – unlocked by earning Polyatomic on every weapon
With these Modern Warfare 2 Mastery Camos now in-game and unlockable we are beginning the long camo grind for some of the best weapons in Modern Warfare 2. Personally, we are leaning towards Orion being our favourite, especially with how unlike anything else it looks so you can really show off on the various maps in the game.
