Xbox exclusive As Dusk Falls, a great narrative game from Interior/Night, is coming to PS5 and we know the As Dusk Falls PS5 release date.

If you thought The Game Awards was just a show about all the awards being given to this year’s best videogames, then you’re mistaken – and this year is the best example of why. Numerous ‘world premiere’ announcements were made during Geoff Keighley’s busy industry event on December 7 and among them was a PS5 and PS4 release date for As Dusk Falls – an Xbox exclusive published by Xbox Game Studios. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one, an As Dusk Falls PS5 release date is on the way and this is fantastic news for PlayStation players waiting to check it out.

As Dusk Falls from Interior/Night might not be the most recent name on the list of new Xbox games worth playing, but it’s easily one of the best Xbox Game Pass games available right now and a gripping experience from start to finish. So, when it comes to all the new PS5 games we have to look forward to in 2024, it’s certainly a title that should be on everyone’s radar.

When, though, should you expect to see As Dusk Falls on the PlayStation Store? Well, as revealed during The Game Awards, As Dusk Falls is coming to PS5 and PS4 on March 7, 2024 – both digitally and physically, through the newly announced As Dusk Falls Premium Physical Edition.

This physical version of the game comes with As Dusk Falls itself (of course), a replica of Dante’s Black Book (that features brand new content and answers to quite a few questions you might have when you reach one of the As Dusk Falls endings), and a clean cinematic poster depicting three of the game’s characters. The As Dusk Falls Premium Physical Edition will set you back $44.99 and you can pick it up via Serenity Forge here – a reasonable price when you consider just how excellent this game is.

If you’re not too bothered about all that and you want to know what As Dusk Falls is actually all about, though, you can check out the latest trailer below:

However, if you want to know what the future for Interior/Night looks like after As Dusk Falls, you can check out our interview with the studio on As Dusk Falls and its future right here. The As Dusk Falls developers want to make more boundary-pushing narrative games, and we’re here for it. Although, with As Dusk Falls making enough paintings to fill the Louvre three times (yes, the actual Louvre in Paris), we can imagine Interior/Night still has a lot of work to do yet.

We know March 2024 is a little ways away yet, but there’s a lot to enjoy on both PS5 and Xbox in the meantime. You can find out more about the latest free PS Plus games available with the PS Plus December 2023 games line-up right here and all the new Xbox Game Pass December 2023 games here. With some fantastic narrative games available on both services as we head into the holidays, the wait for As Dusk Falls won’t be a painful one for PlayStation players.
