Apex Legends Wintertide event start time - when’s Winter Express back?

If you're looking forward to Apex Legends' Wintertide Collection Event, we have what you need to know about the start time and when Winter Express is back here

Apex Legends Wintertide collection event start time: Crypto running with his sword in the battle royale

If there’s one thing Respawn Entertainment does pretty well when it comes to hit free-to-play battle royale shooter Apex Legends, it’s events – specifically, Collection Events. Thoughts on the monetisation of these Collection Events and their contents aside, they offer players a great chance to pick up some themed cosmetics for their favourite legend and, more often than not, a new way to play through a limited-time mode (LTM). If you’re looking forward to the next in-game event, we have everything you need to know about the Apex Legends Wintertide Collection Event start time and what to expect down below.

The Wintertide Collection Event isn’t just a collection of snowy skins for Apex Legends players to spend their hard-earned Apex Coins on, it’s also a chance for players to jump back into the ever-popular Winter Express LTM. This will be the fourth time a festive squad-based fight will take to the train on World’s Edge and we can’t wait to play once again.

Apex Legends Wintertide Collection Event start time

If you can’t either, you’ll be pleased to know that the Apex Legends Wintertide Collection Event start time is 10:00 PST / 13:00 EST / 18:00 BST on December 6. The event is currently scheduled to run until December 27.

It’s worth noting that this start time has not been explicitly confirmed by Respawn Entertainment. However, this is the usual time of day when Apex Legends events and Collection Events begin and we can’t imagine the battle royale’s developer will change this – unless it faces technical issues.

If you want to climb the Apex Legends ranks, this isn’t going to affect you too much. But, the Winter Express LTM could provide an excellent way for you to work on your close-range combat skills outside of Arenas – and earn some rewards while you’re at it.

There’s also going to be legendary skins and associated weapon skins for Bangalore, Crypto, Newcastle, Valkyrie, Gibraltar, and Bloodhound, with the Collection Event culminating in an epic-looking Apex Voidshifter Prestige skin for Wraith. That will set you back quite a few Apex Coins, though.

Still, Apex Legends isn’t just a great free shooting game, it’s one of the best competitive FPS games out there right now. This update is a great way to pass the time between now and the Apex Legends Season 16 relaease date – just don’t expect anything drastic to pop up in the Apex Legends patch notes from it.
