To unlock the Bracer secret armour in A Plague Tale Requiem, you need to complete the windmill puzzle in chapter 9 in the game. This can be done by switching windmill I and II off and turning windmill III and IV on so they are turning. Once this has been done you will hear the ground shift beneath you. From there you can go down to the cave behind the windmills and grab the Bracer.
The Bracer is a great bonus, especially during the later chapters in the game which get a lot more combat-focused and throw waves of enemies at you. It allows Amicia to recover from attacks faster, enabling you to scarper away or get prepared to follow up with a shot from your weapon or using one of the crafting tools.
