The Lamplighter’s League – October 3
From the creators of Battletech, The Lamlighter’s League has you create a unique, dynamic team of characters to take on missions and bring their opponents to an end with a variety of abilities. You will also grow to know each and every one of them and the stories of the characters you bond with.
It’s definitely a departure from Battletech, but Harebrained Schemes are masters at this type of strategy game.
Warhammer 40,000 Darktide – October 4
After a troubled launch on PC and a number of rebalancing patches, Darktide is finally hitting consoles this month. Available on the current-gen Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, Darktide will bring with it all the updates and improvements we have seen on PC.
Hopefully, we will see a resurgence for the title.
Forza Motorsport – October 10
Forza Motorsport reboots the iconic racing sim and brings us the first new game in six years. In that time we have got two Forza Horizon games! But, now the original series is back in the spotlight with the October Forza Motorsport release date.
With a variety of Forza Motorsport tracks and Forza Motorsport cars, including some new ones, you can expect a lot of new additions at launch and support down the line.
Cities Skylines 2 – October 24
The much-anticipated Cities Skylines 2 will also hit your Xbox via Game Pass, as well as PC Game Pass in October. Almost every aspect of the game has been touched and improved here to transform what was already one of the best city-builders around into an incredible one that will make a huge impact on consoles.
Be prepared to lose hours of your life to this sequel.
Headbangers Rhythm Royale – October 31
The mad team at Team17 is publishing this wacky party game. Headbangers Rhythm Royale is Fall Guys but with pigeons. Oh, and all the games are musical-based. It is a pretty wild proposition, but from what we have seen it will be an absolute coo with your friends this Halloween.
Just be sure to protect your windows from any thrown controllers at a gut-wrenching loss.
Jusant – October 31
Jusant comes from renowned developer Don’t Nod and it is a unique take on the solo adventure. In the game, you will explore the large mountain as you scale it from the very bottom step by step. You will tackle small puzzles and explore breathtaking environments as you master your climbing skills.
The studio is fantastic at creating unique adventures and this looks no different.
