May is an incredibly exciting month for Xbox Game Pass enjoyers, as one of the biggest games of the year – one that should immediately be granted a Game of the Year nomination – is set to arrive on the subscription service. That’s right, Xbox has announced that Little Kitty, Big City is on its way to the Xbox Game Pass May lineup!
On top of Double Dagger Studio’s new Straylike (for legal reasons this is not a real subgenre… but it could be), Xbox is bringing Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Kona 2: Brume, and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition along for the ride. It’s a cracking little lineup to lead us into the first half of May, mixing the feline-focused open-world game with a returning gem of a co-op game, a thrilling interactive adventure, and an action-packed classic.
Ever since Stray captured my heart I’ve been eagerly anticipating its successor. While no plans for a sequel have materialized, I’m elated to see Double Dagger pick up the mantle – and as a day-one addition to the list of Xbox Game Pass games, no less. Featuring a city-wide litter(sand) box, and plenty of opportunities to create chaos and cat-astrophe – it’s giving Untitled Goose Game – I’m ready for Little Kitty, Big City to juice me up with dopamine.
Gushing aside, here’s when you can expect the new Game Pass games for May to appear in your library:
- Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) – May 2
- Kona II: Brume (Cloud, Console, and PC) – May 7
- Little Kitty, Big City (Cloud, Console, and PC) – May 9
- Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (Cloud, Console, and PC) – May 14
