Survival is the name of the game on the dead moon of Callisto and Black Iron has a number of different tools to help you get out of the hell you have found yourself in. But, where are all of The Callisto Protocol’s weapon locations so you can have a full arsenal by the time you tackle some of the later game bosses and challenges?
This article will take you through all of the ways you can get the melee weapons, tools, ranged weapons, and items in The Callisto Protocol’s chapters. Granted, you won’t be using all of these The Callisto Protocol weapons equally, but finding each one allows you to approach any enemy and threat with a wide variety of options.
The Callisto Protocol weapon locations
There are a total of nine weapons and weapon schematic locations in The Callisto Protocol for you to find. They are in the following chapters and areas:
- Shiv location: Given to Jacob by Elias in the ‘Outbreak’ chapter
- Melee Axe location: Found during a fight in the cell control room in the ‘Outbreak’ chapter
- Stun Baton location: Found on a guard you come across in the ‘Outbreak’ chapter
- Hand Cannon location: given to Jacob by Elias in the ‘Aftermath’ chapter
- GRP location: Found on a dead guard you come across in the ‘Aftermath’ chapter
- Skunk Gun location: Found in the Botanical H624 corridor in a small side room in the Botanical Recycling area
- Riot Gun location: Given to you by Dani in the ‘Lost’ chapter
- Tactical Pistol location: Found in a storage room in the creature nest in the tunnels in the ‘Below’ chapter
- Assault Rifle location: Found on the upper level of the slums in a bathroom in the ‘Colony’ chapter
Below, you can find a more detailed overview of each location and where you can find the weapons:
The Callisto Protocol Shiv location
Early on in the ‘Outbreak’ chapter, when first meeting Elias, he will give you a shiv to help you out as you make your way through the corridors of Black Iron prison.
The Callisto Protocol Melee Axe location
After you reach the central cell control tower in the ‘Outbreak’ chapter, you will come across some people who you will have to fight. During the fight, you will automatically pick up the melee axe.
The Callisto Protocol Stun Baton location
The Stun Baton is the third weapon found during the ‘Outbreak’ chapter. A little later on you will reach a console and a guard on the ground. After reaching the guard Jacob will automatically pick up the Stun Baton.
The Callisto Protocol Hand Cannon location
Upon reuniting with Elias in the ‘Aftermath’ chapter, he will toss you the Hand Cannon. You can then begin upgrading it in the Reforge.
The Callisto Protocol GRP location
Later on in the ‘Aftermath’ chapter, you will squeeze through a doorway and come across a guard on a stretcher. Jacob will automatically pick up the GRP from this guard.
The Callisto Protocol Skunk Gun schematic location
During the ‘Habitat’ chapter, you will pass through some back rooms of a building in order to unlock the security console. In this room, to your left, you will see a path labelled ‘Botanical H624’. Head down this path and then go into the Botanical Recycling rooms in the back. Here you can find the schematic for the Skunk Gun after squeezing through a gap.
The Callisto Protocol Riot Gun location
During the ‘Below’ chapter, you will meet up with Dani and she will hand you the Riot Gun. Once in your hands, you will be able to keep it for the rest of the game.
The Callisto Protocol Tactical Pistol schematic location
The Tactical Pistol location is somewhat tricky to describe. However, during the ‘Below’ chapter you will eventually see a long corridor with a number of creatures embedded in the wall. Walk past them and then continue forward through the hallways on the ground floor. Eventually, you will be able to turn to your right past a generator and see a storage area with some lockers. By these lockers, on the table, you can find the schematic for the gun.
The Callisto Protocol Assault Rifle schematic location
During the ‘Colony’ chapter, fairly early on, you will reach a set of slums and need to climb up the ladder by one of the buildings. Make your way across to the opposite side of the upper level towards the gate fuse. Eventually, you will see a bathroom to your left as you exit a building. In here you can find the assault rifle schematic.
