If you are wanting a list of all The Callisto Protocol's weapons, then look no further as we will take you them all from the shock stick to the Riot Gun

The Callisto Protocol Weapons: Jacob can be seen

Trying to survive in Black Iron Prison is no easy task for Jacob and you will need to find a host of different weapons in order to not succumb to the disgusting threats lurking around the facility. But, what are all of The Callisto Protocol’s weapons?

Well, there is a pretty big variety of weapons in the game from melee blunt-force weapons to long-range options like pistols. In addition, of course, no game is complete without a shotgun and The Callisto Protocol has a good one tucked away in the half a dozen The Callisto Protocol chapters.

The Callisto Protocol weapons

There are a total of nine weapons in The Callisto Protocol for you to find on your journey through Black Iron Prison. They are:

  • Shiv
  • Melee Axe
  • Stun Baton
  • Hand Cannon
  • GRP
  • Skunk Gun
  • Riot Gun
  • Tactical Pistol
  • Assault Rifle

Below, you can find a deeper overview of each one and the main strengths of the weapon in the various combat scenarios in the game.

The Callisto Protocol Weapons: Jacob can be seen being given a shiv

Shiv

The Shiv is one of the first weapons you can get and you will automatically obtain it early on in the prison. It is your main stealth weapon, letting you sneak up behind enemies and kill them.

The Callisto Protocol Weapons: Jacob can be seen with a melee axe

Melee Axe

Like the Shiv, the Melee Axe is also naturally unlocked in the story early on. It is your initial melee weapon that you obtain and use when fighting through the hallways of the prison.

The Callisto Protocol Weapons: Jacob can be seen with a stun baton

Stun Baton

Unlocked slightly past the Melee Axe, eventually, you will drop that weapon and replace it with the Stun Baton, a far more powerful weapon wielded by the guards in Black Iron Prison.

The Callisto Protocol Weapons: Jacob can be seen with a hand cannon

Hand Cannon

The Hand Cannon is the basic pistol and the core of ranged combat in The Callisto Protocol. Unlocked pretty early on, the Hand Cannon is a single-fire pistol that shoots powerful shots capable of tearing through flesh and letting limbs fly.

The Callisto Protocol Weapons: Jacob can be seen using the GRP

GRP

The GRP is a glove that sits over your forearm and is used to pull enemies and objects towards you. It can then be released to fling the item you are holding into a wall or dangerous machine. You can also follow up a GRP attack with a melee attack for a unique combo.

The Callisto Protocol Weapons: Jacob can be seen with the Skunk Gun

Skunk Gun

The Skunk Gun is the second ranged weapon you can unlock and found in a side area during the Habitat chapter. This weapon is like a pocket shotgun of sorts, capable of firing small clusters of pellets that target a focused area. However, while packing a punch the Skunk Gun is somewhat limited on ammo.

The Callisto Protocol Weapons: Jacob can be seen holding the Riot Gun

Riot Gun

Given to you, the Riot Gun is a powerful shotgun that quickly outshines the Skunk Gun. Able to hold more bullets, the Riot Gun also packs more of a punch and is far more reliable and quicker to reload. However, it doesn’t completely replace the Skunk Gun in your arsenal.

The Callisto Protocol Weapons: Jacob can be seen holding the tactical pistol

Tactical Pistol

The Tactical Pistol is found later in the game and is effectively a fast-firing handgun. It does very little damage, however, it is able to shoot far quicker than the Hand Cannon and therefore a better choice when it comes to shooting tentacles.

The Callisto Protocol Weapons: Jacob can be seen holding the assault rifle

Assault Rifle

The Assault Rifle is the final weapon in the game and it is the long-range gun of choice. Able to hold a ton of bullets and maintain its stability, it is a great final weapon. But, it does come at the cost of being able to deal high damage.

And there you have it, those are all The Callisto Protocol weapons scattered around Black Iron Prison.
