The Street Fighter 6 open beta is finally here and you will be able to jump in and compete online experiencing most of what those in the closed beta got to see. But, what can you play, who will be available, when will the beta release, and how can you download it?

Street Fighter 6 open beta dates

The Street Fighter 6 open beta is set to take place from Friday, May 19, 2023, at 12 am PT / 3 am ET / 8 am BST until Sunday, May 21, 2023, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The open beta will feature all the same content that was available in the second closed beta test with the full online fighting experience, as well as the Battle Hub.

How to access the Street Fighter 6 open beta?

To access the Street Fighter 6 open beta all you need to do is download it from the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam. It is free for everyone so as many players can jump in as possible and you won’t need a code.

In the Street Fighter 6 open beta eight characters will be available:

  • Chun-Li
  • Ken
  • Luke
  • Jamie
  • Kimberly
  • Juri
  • Guile

It is unlikely we will see any additional characters make their way into this beta, but at least players will be able to hone their skills with their favorites on this list.

Crossplay will be fully enabled within the open beta in Street Fighter 6 meaning you can compete against players on other platforms and also your friends. This is all done through the Capcom ID system and you will need an ID to play the beta.
