Is Slime Rancher 2 multiplayer?

Slime Rancher 2 is one of the most exciting games set to come to early access on Xbox and PC after the first game proved itself to be a mega-hit. But, with the sequel players are wondering if they will be able to own and manage a ranch with their friends through any kind of Slime Rancher 2 multiplayer features.

The game won’t see a full launch initially, so Monomi Park will be adding features and gameplay additions throughout the time the game is in early access. But, with a Game Pass launch and more, many fans are hoping that they will be able to play with friends.

Is Slime Rancher 2 multiplayer?

Slime Rancher 2 will not have multiplayer support when it launches into early access on September 22, 2022. On the Steam page for the game, it says that the game is only ‘single-player’, so you won’t be able to own a ranch with your friends at launch.

Monomi Park hasn’t offered any details about the potential for co-op or multiplayer support in the future either. The first game never saw the feature, but we could see it being added to help level up the sequel during early access, although that is just speculation on our part.
