One of the best upgrades you could get in the original Resident Evil 4 was infinite ammo. This allowed you to boost your combat capabilities, spamming bullets or rockets everywhere and anywhere. But, you may be wondering how to get Resident Evil 4 remake infinite ammo upgrades.

This guide is where we come in, with a rundown of which weapons you can get the buff for as well as how you can unlock those weapons, as they all need you to meet specific requirements in Resident Evil 4. So, if you are making your way through the Resident Evil 4 chapters again on a Resident Evil 4 new game plus, you will want one of these guns.

How to get Resident Evil 4 remake infinite ammo

Infinite ammo can be obtained by completing the game on Professional difficulty at an A rank, without using any bonus weapons, and buying the Infinite Rocket Launcher in new game plus.

You can find the exact requirements for unlocking all three weapons:

  • Infinite Rocket Launcher – Bought in New Game Plus for 2 million ptas
  • Infinite Chicago Typewriter – complete the game on Professional and get an A rank and then purchase the exclusive upgrade from the Merchant for 30 Spinels
  • Infinite Handcannon – complete the game on Professional without using any bonus weapons and then unlock the exclusive upgrade from the Merchant

The easiest of these weapons to get is the Infinite Rocket Launcher as there aren’t any specific requirements you need to do to get it. However, it costs 2 million ptas, but you can sell the majority of your weapons or get a money off rocket launcher charm to drop the price.

The other two weapons are harder to get, as you have to complete the game on Professional and meet specific requirements. Infinite ammo isn’t available on all the weapons, unfortunately, as with the original game. So, you either have to stick with one of these or try something else.

Thankfully, the Chicago Typewriter does make it onto our best Resident Evil 4 weapons list, so it is worth getting that if you can.

That covers everything you need to know about the Resident Evil 4 remake infinite ammo options available in the game. As you can see there isn’t complete flexibility, but you should have enough to get you through some of the tougher challenges in the game and harder Resident Evil 4 remake difficulty levels.
