Pokémon Scarlet version exclusive Pokémon
In Pokémon Scarlet there are six version-exclusive Pokémon. This includes the legendary Pokémon Koraidon, who is featured on the box art for the game. Here are all the Scarlet exclusives:
Koraidon
Koraidon is the legendary found in Pokémon Scarlet that also acts as your ride Pokémon for the game. It appears to be some alternate form of the regular Pokémon Cyclizar.
Armarouge
Armarouge is another one of the Scarlet exclusive Pokémon. It is equipped with a large set of armour that belonged to a distinguished warrior. It is a Fire/ Psychic-type Pokémon that comes with a brand new attack called Armor Cannon. It has a counterpart in Pokémon Violet called Ceruledge.
Larvitar, Pupitar, and Tyranitar
It seems that some old pseudo-legendary Pokémon are going to be version exclusives, and Pokémon Scarlet players will be blessed with the Tyranitar line. The fearsome Rock/Dark-type from Generation 2 will be one of the most sought after ‘mons in the game.
Stonjourner
Stonjourner is a Rock-type, single-stage Pokémon coming to Pokémon Scarlet. Stonjourner was introduced in the last generation with Sword and Shield.
Pokémon Violet version exclusive Pokémon
In Pokémon Violet there are six version-exclusive Pokémon. Among them is the legendary Pokémon Koraidon, who is also depicted on the box art for the game. Here are all the Violet exclusives confirmed so far:
Miraidon
Miraidon is the legendary Pokémon exclusive to Pokémon Violet, and also appears on the game’s box art. It is the futuristic counterpart to the more prehistoric looking Koraidon, and is also based on Cyclizar.
Ceruledge
Ceruledge is known as the Fire Blade Pokémon and is a Fire/ Ghost-type only available in Pokémon Violet. Equipped with two sharp blades, the swords on its arms can leave wounds from which life energy flows. It comes with a brand new move called Bitter Blade. It is the counterpart to Armarouge from Pokémon Scarlet.
Bagon, Shelgon, and Salamence
One of Generation 3’s most iconic monsters is Salamence, and the psuedo-legendary Dragon/Flying-type is a version exclusive in Pokémon Violet along with its pre-evolutions Bagon and Shelgon. With access to a wide range of moves, and boasting the Intimidate ability, Salamence is a fearsome opponent and a ‘mon you’ll definitely want on your team.
Eiscue
Eiscue, the Penguin Pokémon, is a version exclusive in Violet. Like Scarlet-exclusive Stonjourner, it’s a single-stage Pokémon that was introduced in Sword and Shield.
