When is the Persona 3 Reload release date? After a number of rumours, the Persona 3 remake is finally here, even if it is a little bit too early. Ahead of the Xbox Games Showcase at Summer Game Fest, Atlus accidentally revealed the game on their Instagram account and we now know when it will arrive.
This remake appears to be a pretty faithful adaption from the small glimpses of gameplay and moments we have seen in the trailer. Considering, Persona 3 Portable is pretty dated and came to Game Pass in January, Persona 3 Reload should be a more modern way to experience this classic.
Persona 3 Reload release date
The Persona 3 Reload release date is set for February 2, 2024, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. This was announced during Gamescom 2023. The game is also launching on Game Pass on the same day, so if you are subscribed, you can play through that service.
Persona 3 Reload gameplay
The Persona 3 Reload gameplay shown in the Gamescom trailer shows that the game is a remake within the Persona 5 engine. We get to see all the staples of the series, with classrooms, combat, the iconic Persona 3 music, and more. Overall, the game is actually looking really stylish, especially with the wonderful colour palate and flashes that have become a staple of the Persona series.
It also introduces us to the S.E.E.S. (Specialised Extracurricular Execution Squad) and the cast of characters you will meet and interact with.
However, Atlus confirmed that the Persona 3 Portable or FES content, including the female protagonist, will not be in Reload. This was confirmed in an interview with IGN.

Persona 3 Reload tells the story of Mokoto Yuki, and his friends who band together and cope with death, accepting it and the role it plays in the world. The cast of characters are:

In High School, the group, S.E.E.S. investigate the Dark Hour, a mysterious time period between one day and the next that is unknown to most individuals. During the Dark Hour, the group investigates a tower called ‘Tartarus’, which contains shadows and creatures that feed off human minds. In fights, the group summons Persona to take on the shadows and save humanity.
