It’s a blessed day for Persona fans, as Atlus has finally confirmed that Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis will be arriving on PS5 and Xbox in September 2024. The remade version of The Answer epilogue will be bundled with the Persona 3 Reload Expansion Pass, which will also offer up cosmetic and OST-based goodies throughout the year.
According to Sega, the expansion pass for one of 2024’s best games will set you back $34.99 – that is, unless you’re an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber. If this is the case, you’ll be able to enjoy all of the delicious content (which you can check out further down in this article) for no extra cost until Friday, January 31, 2025. Result! As we dive into what Episode Aigis entails there’ll be post-game spoilers ahead, so click away now if you haven’t finished the P3R main story.
At the end of March – a few weeks after the heartbreaking conclusion to the RPG game – the remaining S.E.E.S. members are rudely intruded upon by Aigis’s sister, Metis. As it transpires, the gang is trapped in a time loop with the same day repeating forever. In Episode Aigis, you’ll be sent down to a new dungeon called The Abyss of Time to try and fix this rather large issue, but luckily the DLC’s titular character will get some extra perks to help her out.
During the DLC trailer, Aigis can be seen talking to Igor in the Velvet Room. Here he explains that Makoto found the answer to life – something Aigis now must do. To assist her quest, Aigis gains the power to use multiple Personas Makoto wielded before her. She’s going to need it, too. If Episode Aigis is anywhere near as long as The Answer was, then we’re in for another 30 hours of dungeon-crawling action.

According to reliable leaker ‘Midori’, this will be the only expansion pass for P3R. Apparently, the marketing plan for the game was already completed back in September 2021, ahead of the conclusion of its development cycle in Spring 2022. Unfortunately, this means female main character Kotone from P3 FES won’t be coming to P3R – Midori said the same thing back in January when we reported on their original leaks regarding The Answer.
While it’s sad to see Kotone hasn’t made the cut after all, we’re still incredibly excited to see how Episode Aigis translates from P3 FES to current-gen hardware.
