We know Overwatch 2 is going to have a tough time becoming one of the best competitive FPS games available, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a reason to jump into it over the next few weekends. Why? Well, do you remember when we talked about how Overwatch 2 double XP and free skins were coming after a troubled launch? Even if you don’t, Blizzard has confirmed when – not one, but – three double XP weekends are coming to Overwatch 2. So, it’s going to be the perfect time to jump in, right?
As something of a thank you to the players who have put up with Overwatch 2’s instability at launch, Blizzard has confirmed that a double match XP weekend will take place from October 21 at 11:00 PST / 14:00 EST / 19:00 BST to October 24 at 11:00 PST / 14:00 EST / 19:00 BST.
Following on from this, Overwatch 2 players can expect to see two more double match XP weekends in-game. The first one will take place from October 28 at 11:00 PST / 14:00 EST / 19:00 BST until October 31 at 11:00 PST / 14:00 EST / 19:00 BST.
Then, players are going to have to wait almost a month for the third and final Overwatch 2 double match XP weekend that has been announced – so far. It’s going to start on November 24 at 11:00 PST / 14:00 EST / 19:00 BST until November 28 at 11:00 PST / 14:00 EST / 19:00 BST.
We don’t know how regular these double match XP weekend events will be after this – but with any luck, we won’t have to wait long for the next one after that. Until then, we can always wonder why there are some Overwatch 2 voice lines that reveal Sigma just really hate shoes, right?
Okay, maybe we don’t need to wonder that – but, you should definitely check out the best Overwatch 2 crosshair settings and set-up right here. That’s actually going to help you get the most out of all those heroes on top of the Overwatch 2 tier list.
