MultiVersus update to fix broken badges coming “in next build”

We know MultiVersus is a great fighting game, but it has its problems - however, Player First Game is fixing them, starting with the game's broken badges

Concerned about the state of MultiVersus right now? Well, we don’t think you have to worry too much about it. We know a lot of you have been calling on Player First Games to fix the game’s broken Badges – which seem to have stopped tracking statistics and wins – and you’ll be pleased to know that game director Tony Huynh has confirmed that something is going to be done.

If there’s one thing Player First Games does well it’s communicating with this fighting game’s community. Just look at the fact that MultiVersus is asking fans to dream up spicier challenges for the free-to-play fighter.

However, as fun as it is to discuss new ways to earn Toast in-game, there are some communications that are more important than others – and we’re sure this one will be welcome news to a lot of you out there. Huynh has confirmed that a fix for MultiVersus’ broken badges has been found and is available “in the next build“.

Now, while we know that’s great news, the problem is we don’t know exactly when this next build of MultiVersus will be available. However, we can’t imagine it’s too far away.

MultiVersus patch 1.04 was released around 10:00 PST / 13:00 EST / 18:00 BST on October 12, so we could see another update released at a similar time as early as October 18. However, there’s nothing to say smaller updates could be released at any time – so, it’s worth keeping an eye out for a title update.

However, Huynh’s statement that it will be available in the game’s next build would suggest it’s coming in MultiVersus patch 1.05 – which could very well coincide with the MultiVersus Black Adam release date. Although, don’t quote us on that.

Whether you’re a player who religiously reads every set of MultiVersus patch notes or not, it’s clear that this is one of the best fighting games available right now. We just hope Player First Games can keep everything working smoothly while it adds to the game’s roster.
