NetherRealm Studios has shown off a lot of Mortal Kombat 1 gameplay. But, finally, the game is here and we now know who is voicing each and every character in the game when it comes to the full Mortal Kombat 1 voice actors list. This Mortal Kombat 1 cast list is stacked and includes some pretty famous faces.

Each of these actors brings their own tone and style to the fighting game in a brand new timeline. The varied roster of Mortal Kombat 1 characters is unlike any roster in the series so far and the same goes for the picks for Mortal Kombat 1 Kameo Fighters. Below, you can find a full rundown of who voices each one.

Mortal Kombat 1 Voice Actors:  Liu Kang can be seen

Matthew Yang King – Liu Kang

With Fire God Liu Kang returning in Mortal Kombat 1 and creating his new timeline, it isn’t surprising to see Matthew Yang King reprise his role. In addition to playing the Fire God, he has also appeared in Diablo 4, Disney’s Elemental, and Love Death and Robots.

Mortal Kombat 1 Voice Actors: Scorpion can be seen

Daisuke Tsuji – Scorpion

Daisuke has had a number of roles in games but his performance as Scorpion and being the face of the series is his biggest role yet, only matched by playing Jin Sakai in Ghost of Tsushima. Previously he has also appeared in Modern Warfare 2, Naraka Bladepoint, and a number of TV shows.

Mortal Kombat 1 Voice Actors: Sub Zero can be seen

Kaji Tang – Sub-Zero

Daisuke has a long history with voice acting and has played a number of roles this year including Genghis Kahn and Generdyne Technician Oyama in Starfield, as well as Sarge in Atlus Fallen. Here he takes over the role of Sub-Zero to deliver a stern performance for Liu Kang’s new timeline.

Mortal Kombat 1 Voice Actors: Johnny Cage can be seen

Andrew Bowen, Jean-Claude Van Damme – Johnny Cage

Jean-Calude Van Damme and Andrew Bowen both lend their voices to Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat 1, who plays a key role in the game’s story and as one of the main group of fighters. His charisma, cockiness, and ball-busting fighting ability is on show just as much as you would expect.

Megan Fox – Nitara

Of course, one of the biggest names on this list is Megan Fox who lends her voice to Nitara. The vampire queen who hasn’t been seen in a long time in the series, is back and Megan Fox truly embodies the character to deliver a stunning performance for the modern era of the series.

Mortal Kombat 1 Voice Actors: Mileena and Kitana can be seen

Kari Whalgren – Kitana, Mileena

Kari gets to voice the two princesses in Mortal Kombat 1. A focal point of the main story, these two are going to be by your side for a while.

She has previously voiced characters in a number of TV shows including My Dad The Bounty Hunter and My Adventures with Superman, but has appeared in games like Star Wars Jedi Survivor and Diablo 4.

Mortal Kombat 1 Voice Actors:  Kenshi can be seen

Vic Chao – Kenshi

Voicing Kenshi, Vic Chao gives a serious and stern performance for the character who hasn’t been seen in a while. Previously Vic has voiced Tseng in Final Fantasy 7 remake, various characters in Ghost of Tsushima and Midnight Suns, as well as Renji Honda in Lost Judgment.

Vincent Rodriguez III – Raiden

Vincent’s role as a younger Raiden is his biggest role in a game to date. But, despite that he has made an appearance in a number of TV shows including With Love, I Heart Arlo, and the film Raya and the Last Dragon.

Mortal Kombat 1 Voice Actors: Kung Lao can be seen

Sunil Malhotra – Kung Lao

Kung Lao gets a returning voice in this game with Sunil Malhotra. This is one of his biggest roles yet, but he has voiced the character before in Mortal Kombat Onslaught

Mortal Kombat 1 Voice Actors: Sindel can be seen

Mara Junot – Sindel

Mara Junot has a long history of voicing characters but this year has voiced several characters across Starfield, Diablo 4, and Destiny 2 Lightfall. Here she voices the Queen Sindel and will be a pivotal force in the main story.

Mortal Kombat 1 Voice Actors: Geras can be seen

Phil LaMarr – Geras

Phil LaMarr takes over as Geras here in Mortal Kombat 1. Previously he has appeared in a number of TV roles, including as Hermes Conrad in Futurama, Lucious Fox in the Harley Quinn series, and God in Disenchantment. This is one of his biggest roles in a game though.

Alan Lee – Shang Tsung

Alan Lee has had a number of small roles voicing characters in games. This includes Forlorn Memories, Saints Row, and Triangle Strategy. But Shang Tsung is his biggest role yet and he will be the main villain you go up against in the story.

Andrew Morgado – Reptile

One of Andrew’s biggest roles recently has been in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as the Souls of The Damned. He has also played a number of other terrifying voices. But, in games, he has voiced a Male Druid in Diablo 4, Rhulk in Destiny 2, and a Deadite Berserker in Evil Dead: The Game.

Mortal Kombat 1 Voice Actors: Baraka can be seen

Steve Blum – Baraka

Voicing Baraka for many years at this point, Steve Blum once again returns as the character. Playing a role in the story, Baraka will be someone you come across quite often, and even online. Blum has voiced many famous characters including Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop, Ares in God of War, and Dempsey in Call of Duty. But, Baraka is one of his longest running roles.

Kelly Hu – Li Mei

Kelly Hu has an extended voice acting history and has previously done a lot of work in TV. This includes Solar Opposites, playing Admiral Ozawa in The Orville, Eva Watanabe in Friday the 13th Part VIII, and Anna Ripley in The Legend of Vox Machina. Here she voices Li Mei who is one of the main characters in your fight against Shang Tsung.

Yuri Lowenthal – Smoke

Yuri needs no introduction. He has voiced countless heroes and characters from tons of games. But his most famous role is as Peter Parker in Marvel’s Spider-Man, and the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Here he reinvents Smoke for Liu Kang’s new timeline.

Cherise Boothe – Tanya

Cherise has appeared in a few titles this year including Taissa in Diablo 4, Dr. Lorelei Da Costa in Starfield, and she also voices Soujourn in Overwatch 2. Here she lends her voice to Tanya who returns and is one of the core individuals you recruit during your time in the main story.

Mortal Kombat 1 Voice Actors: Havik can be seen

Jacob Craner – Havik

Havik is a fan-favourite character and he is finally making his return in Mortal Kombat 1 with an entirely redesigned moveset. Jacob brings the character to life after voicing several other characters in games like New World, Demon’s Souls, and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Noshir Dalal – Rain

Noshir has made a huge surge in appearances in games recently, including as Bode Akuna in Star Wars Jedi Survivor and Kotallo in Horizon Forbidden West. Here he lends his voice to a completely redesigned Rain, focused on spells and casting water attacks from afar.

Mortal Kombat 1 Voice Actors: Ashrah can be seen

Susan Eisenberg – Ashrah

Ashrah is also making a return in Mortal Kombat 1 after an extended absence. She now looks very different and Susan gives a powerful performance. Previously Susan has voiced the player character in Destiny 2 and Wonder Woman in Injustice 2. So, she has worked with NetherRealm before.

Mortal Kombat 1 Voice Actors:  Reiko can be seen

Derek Phillips – Reiko

Deek Phillips has appeared in a number of TV shows recently including NCIS Hawai’i, The Terminal List, and Law and Order Special Victims Unit. Previously he has played Wade in Call of Duty Vanguard. But he has been in a NetherRealm property before, playing Nightwing, Deadwing, and Aquaman in the Injustice animated film.

Mortal Kombat 1 Voice Actors: Omni Man can be seen

J.K. Simmons – Omni-Man

J.K. Simmons is confirmed to be voicing Omni-Man in the game which will be one of his biggest roles to date after appearing Baldur’s Gate 3 earlier this year. You will have seen J.K. Simmons in a ton of films and shows, including as J. Jonah Jameson in Spider-Man.

Mortal Kombat 1 Voice Actors: Peacemaker can be seen

John Cena – Peacemaker

John Cena will indeed be voicing Peacemaker when he is introduced into the game as a DLC character. We can expect the same humor, unparalleled seriousness, and pinpoint accuracy that Peacemaker is known for to really light up this roster.

Mortal Kombat 1 Voice Actors: Ermac can be seen

Jamieson Price – Ermac

Jamieson has voiced many characters in recent games including Tactics Ogre Reborn and Octopath Traveller 2. But, Ermac does make an appearance in the story and Jamieson gives us a taste of what is to come once he is added to the main roster.
