It looks like the Lords of the Fallen release date has been leaked online and fans of Dark Souls and Elden Ring won't have to wait for this current-gen RPG.

CI Games’ Lords of the Fallen is shaping up to be a truly epic sequel to CI Games’ confusingly-named 2014 release Lords of the Fallen. However, the Lords of the Fallen release date has been something of a mystery for quite some time, even though we know enough about this game to suggest that it could just become one of the best RPG games out there whenever it drops. Well, not anymore; a new Lords of the Fallen launch date has popped up online ahead of any official announcements and it sounds like it could be just-about right.

Shared rather ominously online by renowned leaker ‘ALumia_Italia‘, it looks like Lords of the Fallen – a game that has been confirmed to be arriving before the end of 2023 – will release on October 13, 2023. It should be available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC – but, there’s no word on last-gen platforms, yet.

At the moment, it’s hard to say whether this Lords of the Fallen launch leak is legitimate or not. However, this leaker does have a track record of being right – and we don’t think they would make an announcement like this without the belief that it was true. So, while we do think it’s worth taking this with a pinch of salt until we know more, it might also be worth thinking about booking a day off if you want to play it as soon as it drops.

With the Lords of the Fallen offering “seamless” co-op, unlike Elden Ring, this could be a fantastic game for players looking to experience one of the best PS5 RPG games or best Xbox RPG games out there with their friends. Of course, we don’t quite know how well this game will play yet – but, Lords of the Fallen has gone “the extra mile” with its 30-plus bosses. So, at least we know there’s going to be a few big enemies to slay – if anything.

If you’re just here wondering what Lords of the Fallen is even all about, reading up on the first Lords of the Fallen isn’t going to help you an awful lot. This game sounds like it’s set quite a bit further in the future than your average sequel. However, this trailer might clue you up on what to expect:

Lords of the Fallen is unapologetically Dark Souls, but with a twist; however, will it be one of the best games of all time? Well, it certainly sounds like it’s going to give Elden Ring a run for its’ money – and everyone likes that. So, who knows what might happen.
