If you’re just as excited about the latest Lego game as we are, you may be wondering if Lego 2K Drive early access is available. This way, you’ll be able to get racing for the Sky Cup Trophy as soon as possible, if you’re quick enough that is.
Since the Lego 2K Drive release date is just around the corner, we’re getting ready to hop behind the steering wheel and rev our engines in preparation to explore the various Lego 2K Drive maps, hoping it will be good enough to join our best racing games list. But if you’re hoping to play earlier than others, here’s whether you can.
Lego 2K Drive early access
You can play Lego 2K Drive early from May 16, 2023, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC if you purchase the Awesome or Awesome Rivals Editions of the game. This means you’ll have a full three days early access before the game releases on May 19.
While the standard edition doesn’t come with any early access period, you can purchase the Awesome Edition or Awesome Rivals Editions, which are $99.99 / £89.99 and $119.99 / £104.99 respectively to get ahead of your competition. And, it gives you a chance to play the different Lego 2K Drive game modes before anyone else (aside those who also bought the higher tier editions of the game too).
It’s a great way to play a couple days before the release date if you’re excited for Lego 2K Drive, but aside from experience and practice, it is unlikely to give you an advantage in the Lego 2K Drive multiplayer modes, since they mostly rely on building a balanced vehicle with a good set of Lego 2K Drive vehicle stats.
Now you’re caught up to speed on the Lego 2K Drive early access period, you can decide whether to opt for the higher editions of the game. However, no matter which edition you buy, you’ll be able to play with your friends on any platform thanks to Lego 2K Drive crossplay, as well as locally with Lego 2K Drive split-screen co-op.
