Ascendant Studios’ Immortals of Aveum might not initially strike you as one of the best FPS games out there but, when you look at all the new Xbox games we’ve had to play this year, it’s actually one of the better ones – and a steal for the same price as a coffee and a panini from your local Starbucks. It got a bad rap at launch, in our opinion, and it does what it’s trying to do very well. Sure, you will have a tough time convincing anyone that it’s one of the best Xbox games of all time, but it’s still a lot of fun and packed with some very impressive visuals.
So, if you think you want to give this game a go and pick up Immortals of Aveum on the cheap, you can do so until December 10. It’s going to set you back $7.99 – which is 90% off the full $69.99 price tag – in the United States and £7.99 in the United Kingdom – the same discount technically speaking, but a slightly better deal in the US given the current exchange rate.
One important thing you’re going to need to remember, though, is that you need an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership to even see those above deals. Otherwise, Immortals of Aveum is available at a 50% discount and will set you back $34.99 / £34.99 – which, to be honest, still isn’t the worst offer we’ve ever seen.
If you’re already an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate member, then you shouldn’t have anything to worry about – and you can enjoy all the best Xbox Game Pass games and the new Xbox Game Pass December 2023 games while you wait for Immortals of Aveum to download. If you don’t have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, though, but you still want to take advantage of this offer, you’re still getting a good deal if you buy a single month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (for $12 at the most) and then Immortals of Aveum itself at $8. Together, that’s still over 70% cheaper than the game at full price.
When you think about all the other benefits of having an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership for an entire month, and the fact that similar deals (like this new Dead Space Xbox sale) pop up all time, it’s hard to see any real downside to this situation.
