Featuring returning VAs from other HoYo titles – Honkai Star Rail fans will recognize some of the Genshin Impact characters – as well as original talent from across the industry, the Honkai Star Rail characters are sounding real good. Star Rail’s English cast list features a real blend of returning talent from Genshin Impact, as well as those who have starred in various shows and games.
Genshin players, for example, will recognize Dani Chambers (Nilou), Felecia Angelle (Mona), Alejandro Saab (Cyno), Elizabeth Maxwell (Rosaria), Anjali Kunapaneni (Dori), and Amber May (Dehya).
Some of the more notable newcomers include Bryson Baugus – who voices Bell Cranel and Shoyo Hinata in the English dubs of Danmachi and Haikyuu!! respectively – Bryn Apprill (Kobeni Higashiyama, Chainsaw Man), and Natalie Van Sistine (Yor Forger, Spy x Family).

Similarly to the English VA list, the Japanese Star Rail cast is comprised of fresh and returning talent.
Though this time there aren’t any Genshin VAs, there are those like Asumi Kana (Bronya) and Misato Fukuen (Sushang) who are reprising their Honkai Impact 3rd roles. Meanwhile, Akira Ishida, who played Otto Apocalypse in the previous Honkai title, will take on the mantle of Luocha this time around.
Anime fans will also be thrilled to know that the likes of Makoto Furukawa (Saitama, One Punch Man), Marina Inoue (Armin Alert, Attack on Titan), and Itou Kento (Nifuji Hirotaka, Wotakoi) will be lending their talents to Star Rail’s characters.

The most recent Honkai Star Rail character to get a dedicated trailer is Yanqing, who is voiced by Amber May (EN) and Marina Inoue (JP).
