Hogwarts Legacy how to upgrade a broom
You can begin upgrading a broom in Hogwarts Legacy, you will need to have obtained a broom and then completed the ‘Flight Test’ side quest.
This Hogwarts Legacy side quest is unlocked as soon as you get a broom in Hogwarts Legacy. So, complete it and fly through the rings for Iselda to beat the best time and you will automatically be able to head to the Hogwarts Legacy Sprintwitches Sporting Needs shop and purchase your first upgrade.
As a note, these upgrades are carried in between all of your brooms. So, you don’t need to buy one of them for each new broom or worry about switching your broom out and having to level it up to the speed and effectiveness it was out with your previous one.
Hogwarts Legacy how to get additional broom upgrades
Additional broom upgrades can be found by completing a few more of Iselda’s timed races around the Hogwarts Legacy map. These quests follow on from the first, so just head back to the shop to get them.

Hogwarts Legacy best broom upgrades
The best broom upgrades in Hogwarts Legacy are well, all of them. There isn’t a whole lot of depth to them as they just boost your overall acceleration and speed. So, buy whatever you have access to.
