Does Hogwarts Legacy have Quidditch?

Does Hogwarts Legacy have Quidditch is a question you may have. Here is what Avalanche and WB have said about the sport being in the open-world RPG.

Hogwarts Legacy Have Quidditch: A person can be seen riding a broom

Does Hogwarts Legacy have Quidditch? Quidditch has become a sport that has transcended beyond the Harry Potter books and with Hogwarts Legacy, many are hoping to test out their skills in the sport. But was it something Avalanche were able to implement, especially as this is focused more on living the life of a student in terms of using and casting spells and exploring?

Hogwarts Legacy is an RPG with deep systems and mechanics interwoven into it, alongside full combat with a host of Hogwarts Legacy spells. But when you aren’t taking down Hogwarts Legacy bosses or threats, a great way to kill time would be to play the sport with your broom.

Does Hogwarts Legacy have Quidditch?

Hogwarts Legacy does not have Quidditch. This is confirmed in the official FAQ on the website for the game.

While Quidditch won’t be playable you will be able to use your broom as the official FAQ also says “broom flight for traversal and broom race challenges are part of the game. Players can also fly brooms to explore new and familiar locations surrounding Hogwarts Castle.”

This will be disappointing to many fans who were expecting to be able to play the sport within the game. But, with gameplay offering a lot in terms of exploration, combat, puzzles to solve, and a student life to live, you should have more than enough to keep you busy.

Hogwarts Legacy has drawn considerable criticism during its development, largely due to the fact that the creator of the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling, has made a number of transphobic remarks on social media in recent years.

While Avalanche has confirmed that J.K. Rowling is not “directly involved” in the development of Hogwarts Legacy, it is working with “her team” and Portkey Games, a Warner Bros. label dedicated to launching new experiences inspired by J.K. Rowling’s original stories. It is currently unclear whether she will earn any royalties from the game’s sale, but it is likely given it is based on her original body of work.
