The Hogwarts Legacy chess puzzle is a challenge in a Treasure Vault in the Poidsear Coast. It needs to be solved to unlock the chest in the small cave.
This is one of the more vague puzzles in a Treasure Vault in the game and you will need to have a good idea of how chess works to be able to solve it.
Hogwarts Legacy chess puzzle location
The location of the Hogwarts Legacy chess puzzle is in the far North of the Poidsear Coast region on the Hogwarts Legacy map. To enter the Treasure Vault simply use Depulso on each of the rotating pillars until the gate opens.
This puzzle is one of several found in Treasure Vaults all across the map and is one of the main side activities in the open world.
Hogwarts Legacy chess puzzle solution
The chess puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy is solved by:
- Using Transformation on the white pot on the ground to turn it into the Bishop
- Then, use Wingardium Leviosa on the Bishop to move it in front of the knight, checkmating the opponent.
