One of the first secrets you might come across in Hogwarts is a brazier puzzle on a bridge in the castle. But, what is the Hogwarts Legacy bridge puzzle solution?
Thankfully, once you know what you are looking out for the secrets hidden below this bridge in Hogwarts can be pretty easily accessed. In the process, you will net yourself a nice bit of gear you can use for the best Hogwarts Legacy builds. We found this solution in our Hogwarts Legacy review playthrough and the puzzle can be found on the viaduct that connects the Great Hall and Library Annex.
Hogwarts Legacy bridge puzzle solution
To solve the Hogwarts Legacy bridge puzzle, you need to match the numbers and symbols on the ground to the numbers and symbols on each of the four braziers. The corresponding symbols and numbers on the braziers should be:
- I = Triangle with a target
- II = Crescent and circles
- III = Triangle with a circle
- IV = Diamond
The braziers can be changed in any order, you just have to get the final symbols and numbers to match up on each one to the floor. You will need a fire-casting spell like Incendio. If you don’t have one yet, our how to unlock spells in Hogwarts Legacy guide has you covered.
Once completed the manhole in the floor will disappear and you can climb down to an aqueduct. Here there are two Hogwarts Legacy Collection Chests and a large gear chest containing a rare piece of gear. This will also complete one of the Hogwarts Legacy Hogwarts secrets, which will then complete Hogwarts Legacy challenges.
That covers the Hogwarts Legacy bridge puzzle solution. For more puzzle solutions as you are exploring Hogwarts, check out our guide on the different Hogwarts Legacy chests to find and more in our Hogwarts Legacy walkthrough article.
Hogwarts Legacy has drawn considerable criticism during its development, largely due to the fact that the creator of the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling, has made a number of transphobic remarks on social media in recent years.
While Avalanche has confirmed that J.K. Rowling is not “directly involved” in the development of Hogwarts Legacy, it is working with “her team” and Portkey Games, a Warner Bros. label dedicated to launching new experiences inspired by J.K. Rowling’s original stories. It is currently unclear whether she will earn any royalties from the game’s sale, but it is likely given it is based on her original body of work.
