Tango Gameworks and Bethesda are teaming up with Prime Gaming to bring a brand new costume pack to Hi-Fi Rush players on Xbox and PC amid talk of new DLC.

If you’re looking for a way to customize your Hi-Fi Rush playthrough a little more, you’ll be pleased to know that Prime Gaming is offering players a brand new Teamplay Costume Pack for free ahead of the Xbox Games Showcase on June 11. With this being one of the best Xbox Game Pass games out there right now, all you need is an active Prime Gaming subscription – or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate – to get some fantastic Hi-Fi Rush content. This, interestingly, comes just days after evidence suggesting Hi-Fi Rush DLC content is coming surfaced online.

The new Hi-Fi Rush Teamplay Costume Pack comes with six new outfits, with one available for each of the rhythm game’s main characters. Each one is “inspired by their own teammates’ styles”, according to this Bethesda blog post, and “Chai comes with a full outfit set with interchangeable parts and matching guitar based on his (and everyone’s) favourite robotic cat companion, 808”. You don’t need to sell us anymore, because that’s all we want: robotic catboy Chai.

Yes, that also means you get a Chai costume for 808 – which is adorable. Korsica and Peppermint also switch outfits, while you can find CNMN donning Macaron’s get-up and vice-versa.

Available until September 8, 2023, you don’t have long to pick up this free cosmetics pack for one of the best Xbox games out there right now. You can check out what the new skins look like right here:

As suggested above, this is available to anyone with an active Prime Gaming subscription. As you can see on the Hi-Fi Rush Prime Gaming webpage here, you’re going to need to link your Bethesda account to your Prime Gaming account before you claim it. If you don’t have an active Prime Gaming membership, you can find a little deal on us down below.

Alternatively, this content is also available for Xbox players via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as one of the service’s perks. So, there are plenty of ways to make sure you’re getting your hands on this costume pack. Once claimed, you can find them in the Hideout – which unlocks after you’ve finished the first mission.

If you’re wondering what all this talk of DLC is about, you might be interested to learn that some unnamed mystery achievements have been spotted on the Hi-Fi Rush SteamDB page – which suggests new content to support those achievements is on the way.

This game was a surprise launch back in January 2023, so we could see another surprise announcement from it during the Xbox Games Showcase on June 11. Take that with a pinch of salt, though – just to be safe.

Ahead of time, why not read up on all the confirmed games coming to the main Summer Game Fest showcase on June 8. We don’t think Hi-Fi Rush will be there, but there’s still a lot to look forward to for Xbox fans.
