Hellboy Web of Wyrd release date speculation
Hellboy Web of Wyrd will be released on October 4, 2023, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The team at Upstream Arcade revealed the date during Gamescom 2023.
Since the reveal at The Game Awards in December 2022, the team behind Hellboy Web of Wyrd has been very active on the official Twitter account for the roguelike. As such, we do not doubt that the game will hit this date.
Hellboy Web of Wyrd gameplay
Hellboy Web of Wyrd is a third-person action-adventure with roguelike elements, with a focus on toe-to-toe brawling as you make your way through the Wyrd.
You’ll play as Hellboy, as you deal with different monsters and creatures that stand in your way. Not only does Hellboy have his fists though, but there’s also the use of guns for those who want to deal damage at range. It seems likely that guns are limited compared to the use of melee though.

Hellboy Web of Wyrd story
The latest game set in the Hellboy universe takes you to a dimension called the Wyrd. Set in the early 1980s, Hellboy Web of Wyrd focuses on Hellboy, who is tasked with finding an agent from the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense, or B.P.R.D., in the hopes of bringing them home. Not only that but Hellboy is tasked with solving the mystery of a mansion known as The Butterfly House, a gateway made to open doorways to the aforementioned dimension.
Hellboy is voiced by none other than the late Lance Reddick, who is posthumously voicing the main character in Web of Wyrd, as one of his final roles. Knowing the talent he brings to every character, we expect Hellboy to be an interesting character once again in the upcoming game.
