While you might get the Belfry as a fast travel point in Gotham Knights from the beginning of the game, you won’t be able to fast travel anywhere else until you unlock the ability to. But, how do you unlock fast travel in Gotham Knights? Well, you have to get through a fair bit of the game to actually unlock this ability, meaning you are forced to use your grapple.
How to unlock fast travel in Gotham Knights
To unlock fast travel in Gotham Knights you need to reach mission 2.1 ‘AKA Oswald Cobblepot’. After listening to the message from Oswald, you need to:
- Speak to Lucius Fox and complete the challenge for his quest.
- Scan the drones flying around as a part of his quest to complete it and unlock fast travel
- Repeat the process of scanning the drones at the various fast travel points on the map to unlock those locations to fast travel to
As you can see the process is fairly long-winded and a bit tedious, especially as you have to often stand around waiting for the drones to get near you. But, we suggest going for this as early as possible and getting out of the way as it makes getting around significantly easier without having to rely entirely on your Knighthood ability from Knighthood challenges.
But, with the knowledge of how to unlock fast travel in Gotham Knights, exploring the map in the game is a tad bit more enjoyable, even though we weren’t too keen on the game as a whole in our Gotham Knights review.
