Genshin Impact TCG Player Levels and how to level up

While playing the new Genshin Impact TCG card game Genius Invokation, you will earn experience that will increase your Player Level. There are currently two methods to increase your Genius Invokation Player Level:

  • Open world matches – Once you’ve completed the Beginner’s Tutorial quest, you will receive a Casket of Tomes that keeps track of opponents that can be challenged on the map. Winning these Adventure Challenges grants you Player EXP alongside other rewards.
  • Weekly Guest Challenges – Each week, a maximum of 4 quests will visit The Cat’s Tail. Defeating these challengers in duels will also grant Player EXP alongside other rewards. Do note that you’ll need to be Player Level 2 before you can participate in Weekly Guest Challenges.

To add even more depth to the Genshin Impact TCG Player Level system, at certain Player Level intervals you will receive Ascension Challenges. When successfully completed, these Ascension Challenges will further raise your Player Level cap.

Genshin Impact TCG Ascension Challenges occur at the following stages:

  • Between Level 2 and 3
  • Between Level 4 and 5
  • Between Level 6 and 7
  • Between level 9 and 10

Reaching a new Player Level will grant rewards on level up. For instance, reaching a new Player Level will earn you 60 Primogems, alongside other valuable rewards such as Match Invitation Letters that can be used to earn new Genshin Impact TCG Character Cards.

Increasing your Player Level will also unlock new features for the Genshin Impact TCG card game Genius Invokation. Firstly, as your level increases you’ll be able to challenge new players and NPCs, and eventually you will unlock the ability to play Genius Invokation multiplayer via matchmaking. Through levelling up your Player Level and completing challenges, you’ll be able to earn Lucky Coins, new cards, and other rewards.

To check your Genshin Impact TCG Player Level, players should speak to Prince, a black cat in the Cat’s Tail tavern in Mondstadt. Prince will provide an overview of your progression, displaying your Player Level and associated rewards alongside other milestones, such as your collection of unlocked Character Cards.

Now that you have an understanding of the Genshin Impact TCG Player Levels and how to level up, get out there and earn some rewards! Collect new cards based on your favourite Genshin Impact characters, build new decks, and challenge even tougher opponents to progress through the ranks.
