Your goal will be to activate Xingqiu’s Elemental Burst to apply Hydro consistently and deal significant damage. Alternatively, you can use Mona’s Elemental Skill to apply Hydro. Nevertheless, the next step is to Freeze your opponent using Ayaka’s Cryo Infused Normal Attacks thanks to her powerful passive skill. Chongyun is a great third character to have as he can also infuse your active character with Cryo, granting another powerful Cryo applicator if Ayaka is out of play.
Like the TCG Melt deck, the TCG Freeze deck is reliant on combos which take time to set up. Likewise, it Xingqui is defeated then you’ll be unable to freeze, so you need to keep him alive. Electro-Charged will deal one extra damage to the target while dealing one Piercing damage to the opponent’s standby characters. Use the Wine-Stained Tricorne and Thunder Summoner’s Crown to reduce the cost of Hydro and Electro actions to further improve action potential.
The biggest downside of this deck is that it takes a few turns to get the ball rolling. However, it’s easy to learn and capable of reliable damage through the Electro-Charged reaction.
